Thread regarding Vericel Corp (VCEL)

Is it time to sell VCEL?

I bought VCEL two years ago, so if I sell now, I'll be more than doubling my money. However, from what I can see, and I've been looking all over the place, everybody is either upgrading the company to buy or reaffirming their previous buy rating. I'm tempted to sell but that's giving me a pause. Any thoughts?

Burn division is a hot mess, top two volume reps, one nexobrid the other Epicel, both quit in a two week period in July. Apparently leadership is non existent, they have brought in reps and managers that have no experience or contacts to a market that is based solely on relationships and clinical outcomes . Upper management is reactive, not proactive, and puts profits ahead of clinical outcomes…a terrible business model in the industry. Look for the burn division to continue to sink and cost the company profits.
