PepsiCo just went through another round of layoffs, and it didn’t seem to shake the stock much. Trimming costs might give a little boost to margins, but I’m not convinced it’s a real fix for the bigger issues. The stock has been kind of sideways, and while earnings looked okay, structural challenges appear bigger than a round of cuts. Makes me wonder if this is a safe long‑term place to put money or just something to watch nervously.
